New photos - Matilda - Chase - more GLH

You may notice I've uploaded better photos of some of our GLH range...looks much better now!

Took these photos today out the lake, such a beautiful day.

I love these ones of my niece Matilda modelling the bibs I made.

Chase and Matilda had fun playing with the cube rattle toys I made too.

These kids really made me laugh today...

After Shannon's last post I thought I should share some pictures also.
This was an earlier piece (modelled by my gorgeous sister)

And here is a pendant that I made using the cluster technique. I really like how it turned out. You get a pendant that features lots of pretty glass beads & a few pearls.
And this one I really like - its simple, yet elegant. I need to get some more swarovski crystals so I can make another one.

I really need to dust off the old camera and take some more photos.

Grace Louise Handmade - range

Been a few extra days then I thought to upload these pics. This is some of our Grace Louise Handmade range that we have been selling at one of the local markets. We still have some beaded jewellery and some other sewn gifts that aren't shown here.

Love making these small teddy bear & bunny rattles...lots of fun. (My niece Matilda)
The bibs would have to be one of my favourite as I made these after experiencing lots of food spills with my son Chase. I make them with the towelling backing to make it softer to wipe baby's face. (My son Chase below)

My small teddy is still missing an ear....I made one but I must have cut the pattern to big so will have to try and finish that ear off for him soon. I have two others I made at least 5 years ago but they must be packed up somewhere. I've made some in pink and blue for when friends have had babies too.

Bye for now...Shannon

Getting started!

This hole 'blog' thing is all a bit new to me so I'm glad I have my friend Leah Grace to guide me...ppssssttt thanks Leah xo
Our blog is all about our adventures to dominate the world with our handmade gifts....well in our dreams anyway. Leah and myself have alot in common and craft is one of them. We have set up our name...Grace Louise Handmade, we've had a few local markets, got our business stamp so we are off and racing.
Our recent market was last weekend. We had a variety of baby gifts and beaded gifts to sell. Sold a few items but maybe it was too cold for people to pull themselves outdoors that day...couldn't have been a bit busier...next time.
I've just finshed making a butterfly for my pins coz I'm always losing them so I'm happy with the result and I'm also nearly finished a small felt bear I'm making so hopefully I can put som pics up tomorrow night of these once they're complete. Plus I'll add a few pics of gifts we are selling at the market.
Well enough from me for tonight....sweet dreams Shannon

What better way to start?

What better way to kick off this blog then posting about a fabulous giveaway being run over at Handmade Kids?
The 'Make It Perfect' patterns are gorgeous! I've got my eye on this cute one for the cutest little boy.
